The Roman Baths are at the bottom of the village of Dorres at an altitude of 1450m. They are exposed due south, halfway up the slope of the mountain. The pools are in the open air. The Bains de Llo

Llo's mesothermal and mineral waters are captured at a depth of 77 m by a spouting artesian borehole. They reach the surface with a flow rate of around 30 m3 / h. The temperature is between 39 ° 75 C and 34.5 ° C. The outdoor pool allows you to enjoy hot baths in summer and winter. A jacuzzi is also installed outside and exposed to the full sun. Large terraces are arranged in order to benefit as much as possible from the sunshine.

St Thomas Baths

Imagine in a small sunny mountain corner at the bottom of a valley, a vast stone amphitheater sheltering three pools of hot sulphurous water in the open air…You are in Saint-Thomas les Bains in the small town of Fontpédrouse, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department at an altitude of 1150 m, where a fantastic source of sulphurous water spouts out at 58 ° C with benefits recognized for a very long time.

Three outdoor pools at a temperature of around 37 ° C have been set up there, equipped with Jacuzzis and massage jets as well as two shower ramps in natural thermal water and regulated in temperature. The interior space will offer you three hammam rooms at progressive temperatures, scented with eucalyptus essential oils and equipped with mood lighting in chromotherapy (optical fiber) with cold basin and showers. The thermal water of Saint-Thomas is classified among the hottest of the Pyrenean type (58 ° C). It is sulphurous, bicarbonated, rich in fluorine, total silica and trace elements. Its thermal plankton makes it light and soft on the skin.This exceptional water, naturally used, has an analgesic, relaxing, antiallergic and healing action. The temperature varies according to climatic requirements: 34 ° to 38 ° C. The maximum depth of the baths is 1.20 m.
